These are likely the words from a parent who just doesn’t understand.
While others laugh at this, I know exactly how the poor kid feels. I too have been known to shout “WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME DO THIS?!” into my TV when a game decides to screw with me after I’ve put in hours of personal time to complete it.
The only thing I can hope for him is that he learns to control the physical part of his game rage and doesn’t have to replace numerous controllers and a flatscreen TV.

Chill out Flurgle. Most kids who start on games behaving like this usually just don’t realize the outcome doesn’t affect your reality in any way. Check back with him in about 10 years and then we’ll see. I have a friend who, even at his age and working very hard on his anger management involving games, is 15 times worse, and he hasn’t gone on a shooting yet.

I can totally understand this kid. i’m 17 and i still get those intense feelings of hatred for a game when you don’t understand what you have to do (i don’t take it out like this anymore…thank god). yes he’s a little spazzy but come on, its perfectly normal. kids get emotional and upset over anything.

I agree, I know that ‘Game rage’. And I am on of the most quiet and ’shy’ people you could meet. But games drive me mad.
Bite the controller, scream, almost cry – I’ve been there. And THAT’S why I hardly ever play games – my mother used to hate me for it XD
And maybe I do have ‘anger issues’, but…..SHUT UP!!!

I know that this isn’t the worst rage people get, I get even angrier but I have a good reason, I have NEVER beaten any video game except for Sly 2. I haven’t even beaten Spyro or Sonic.
