I thought I would take it upon myself to recast some myself because from what I’ve seen, it couldn’t be any worse.

My first attempt… Star Wars

John McCain as the Emperor

They are really old, one runs a galaxy and the other could possibly rule the country. Good enough for me.

Dog as the Bounty Hunter

No one escapes Dog Fett.

Gene Simmons as Chewbacca

Han Solo doesn’t have a chance with Leia around this guy.

Vern Troyer as a Jawa

A naked Jawa with bad bladder control is comedy gold.

Michael Vick as the Rancor Trainer

Who else has this much experience?

Soon, they will rule us all.

Amira Sa’id is a professional belly dance who’s taken on the look of Princess Leia in her “slave” costume soley for the purpose of making Star Wars nerds worship her. Okay, maybe that’s not her real purpose but it’s working.

After seeing that I know I’d hire her for a private party. And by private I mean just for me and my Han Solo costume.

Viva La Skywalker!

The news that came along with it is as follows:

- Seven construction vehicles merge to form Devastator
- Devastator has lots of upper body strength, like a gorilla
- Not just green, some of the vehicles are red and yellow

While it looks pretty bad ass, I find it hard to believe that this will be in the movie due to the fact that they are going to do the whole “Voltron” thing and join up to form Devastator. I mean, that’s seven news vehicles they have to create when they already have a decent number of new and old.

And if they are going to go all out then I say “Screw it”, I want Grimlock too.

Well, y’know, two sharp young writers are purported to be writing the sequel, the third movie now. If I could interest Seth [Rogen] and Judd [Apatow] to be part of it, that would be an absolute dream.

“This slimer’s ectoplasm might knock you up”

I, for one would welcome an Apatow version of Ghostbusters. As much as I love the original franchise, the third could use a fresh upgrade in it’s comedy.

Who wouldn’t want to hear Egon and Ray have a conversation like this…

Egon: You know how I know you’re gay?
Ray: How?
Egon: That toaster was a dude.

Even better, we may get a deeper backstory on The Shredder and that’s from one of the co-creators himself, Kevin Eastman.

Yes, it is true. Although the CGI film did well enough to warrent a sequel, there has been much talk between Imagi and Warners to do a better “re-invention” (newest Hollywood buzzword) of the TMNT’s, in a live action film–like what was done with Batman. Back to basics, back to the origin and the intro of the Shredder, etc…there have been talks, trips to Northampton to talk to Mr Laird, and discussions with the original “first” TMNT film director Steve Barron to come back and do it right–but no official word yet…will keep you posted. I just hope that when people like Kevin here are using the Dark Knight as an example of what they are shooting for, they mean a good script, filming, actors and not just “a dark version”.

Don’t get too excited like I did because these are all creations by DeviantArt user Josh MC.

The idea of Kristen Bell as Harley Quinn or Dr. Who as The Riddler was too good to be true.

You gotta give the guy credit for great casting and very cool photoshopping because for a split second you can almost believe that these are the real deal.

Not sure who created this but it’s very well done for a fan made video. You can almost believe seeing the Death Star over head while the AT-ST’s are a little too fake looking.

Either way, as a Star Wars fan, this gave me a warm feeling. Kinda like sitting inside a Tauntaun.

You get some pretty sweet posters featuring the likes of Ariel and Cinderella in movie poster variations of Sin City.

These are much better than all the cheap x-rated pictures that float around the net of Minnie f’n Goofy.

Hopefully this is just the first of many because there are plenty of characters in the Frank Miller universe that could be awesome.

I’m dying to see Buzz Lightyear as Marv.

And in case you haven’t heard of the fantastic Prince of Persia, it’s a game that the movie is based on.

These are the first leaked pics and I think he might actually pull it off, or at least look the part.
