Darth Maul ain’t so bad.

Everyone is a beautiful butterfly in their own way.

Some…literally.

This drawing was done by a very cool artist by the name of Brandon Bird. I will be posting more of his work here soon as I am a huge fan.

He has plenty of geek-related imagery and anyone who’s a fan of Christopher Walken is okay in my book.

Not A Transformer

I have been seeing people linking this so-called artist all over the interwebs and honestly, I am not impressed sir.

The artist calls it “Transformers #1″.

I call it, “Bad Parking Jobs #1″.

I just find it humorous when something takes off on the internet that is actually really ridiculous and completely useless. I mean, I’ve done that before with my hot wheels when I was 5. I could do it again now that I have a drivers license and a bunch of friends with cars but they probably wouldn’t want to waste the time either.

But hey, this is art right?

No, art is painting Optimus Prime on a naked lady or a Mona Lisa styled picture featuring Megatron.

Parking cars is a job that pays minimum wage…not art.

Cross Frank Miller’s most famous graphic novel with the ladies of Disney and what do you get?

You get some pretty sweet posters featuring the likes of Ariel and Cinderella in movie poster variations of Sin City.

These are much better than all the cheap x-rated pictures that float around the net of Minnie f’n Goofy.

Hopefully this is just the first of many because there are plenty of characters in the Frank Miller universe that could be awesome.

I’m dying to see Buzz Lightyear as Marv.

Metal Sci-Fi

While searching for Stormtrooper images I stumbled across these images. I wish I knew where to see them because they are way cooler than the metal sculpted yard gnomes at my grandmothers house. Though she would probably have a heart attack if I replaced them with these.
